Premises except as excepted in the said contract
and Act of Parliament became vested in his
Majesty **And whereas** the said John
Duke of Athole having proposed absolutely
to sell a considerable real Estate belonging to him
in Scotland to them the said Sir Charles Frederick
and Edmund Hoskins and their heirs for the said
Sum of seventy thousand pounds in order that
such Estate may be by them settled conveyed
and intailed according to the Trusts of the said
Indenture of the sixth day of April one thousand
seven hundred and fifty six And which proposal
having been approved of by the said Charlotte
Duchess of Athole and Baroness Strange and
also by the said Sir Charles Frederick and Edmund
Hoskins, the said John Duke of Athole by Indenture
bearing even date with these Presents in con-
sideration of the said Sum of seventy thousand
pounds therein mentioned to be paid to him
by the said Sir Charles Frederick and Edmund
Hoskins hath duly conveyed such Estate unto
them the said Sir Charles Frederick and
Edmund Hoskins and their heirs upon Trust
and to the Intent that they may settle and
intail the same according to the directions
of the said Indenture of the sixth day of A-
pril one thousand seven hundred and fifty
six **And whereas** fifty eight
thousand pounds part of the said Sum of
seventy
