At a meeting of the 24 Keys in Castletown
the 28^th April 1766

Resolved that a Committee of this House vizt Mr John Frissell, Capt Matthias Christian, Capt Rush, Ambrose Stevenson Capt. Tho^s Radcliffe, Mr Tho^s Fargher & Mr John Moore do take a View of the Land in way of dispute upon the
hall day of July next. The Pet^r paying the said Committee six pence
per man Rates and allowances on each other day of necessity as
they shall appoint. And in case the Committee find it expedient to
have the Land or way Surveyed by a judicious & proper person, such
as they shall appoint, the parties in this cause shall be at the Joint
Expence of getting it done. And thereupon the said Committee are
to report their Opinions this House in writing, at our next
meeting on haveing, Enquiry, that so right & Justice may be
administered in the premisses.

At a meeting of the Keys in Castletown
this 8^th Day of June 1768

We the Keys of Man now Assembled having in Obedience to
his Excellency the Governor's order of Reference taken into Consideration
a Certain Cause or Difference depending between Mond^s [?] Christian
of Ellen Vane in the Parish of Bride and William Corlet of the Claddagh
in said Parish, Respecting the Mear or Boundary between their respective
Lands. And we have perused the Great Inquests and Long Jurys
Verdicts passed on this Business with all proceedings thereon
and heard and duly Considered what was otherwise offered by the Parties.
We say and only Opinion that the Long or Select Jury proceeded
right in Reversing the Great Inquests Verdict. and we hereby Ratify
and Confirm the said Long Jurys Verdict passed on this Cause
which bears date the 22^d of August 1765. which we Return as
our Opinion & Judgment in this matter.
