To All to whom these presents may come or may concern Know
Ye that by Virtue of All and every the powers and Authorities in me
from time to time vested I Did Demise and Grant unto Peter John
Heywood of the Nunnery Esquire All that the Bay Fishery of Douglas
in as full and ample Manner as he the said Peter John Heywood or
Thomas Heywood Esquire deceased his late Father held and
enjoyed the same by Virtue of a Demise from the preceding
Gov^rs
Governour of this Isle To Hold unto him the said Peter John
Heywood from the first Day of November 1764 from Year
to Year, until further Order to the contrary, under the yearly
accustomed Rent of thirteen Shillings and four pence All
which Demise and Grant I do hereby Ratify and Confirm unto
him the said Peter John Heywood with all the Rights Titles and
Powers to the said Fishery appertaining In Testimony
whereof I have hereunto subscribed my Name and affixed
my Seal this thirtieth Day of July in the Sixth Year of the
Reign of His Majesty King George the third And in the
Year of our Lord 1766.
