We whose Names are hereunto Subscribed, being a Majority of the
Committee appointed for all manner of Highways whatsoever within Glenfaba Shea
ding by Virtue of an Ordinance of the Tynwald Court dated the fourth of August
1757, having this Day met at the House of M^r William Colliman of Peeltown, to Gov^r
execute the Trust reposed in us by the Said Ordinance; upon previous Notice
thereof being given to all the Members of the Said Committee to attend. And
the Majority of the Said Committee this Day proceeding in the Premises and
having first taken into Consideration our Prior Order of the 16^th November
1759. for openning and amending the cross Road leading from Ballawilling
in Kirk German to Kirkpatricks Church, and interdicting all manner of proceeding
and Reparations on the Said Road or Highway but what might be done in
Consequence of Said writen Order and Directions in that behalf. And upon
Consideration had of our order and Directions in writing on the 5^th of Decemb^r
1759, whereby we Signified among other things our disapprobation of the obstructions
that were given to the Publick on a Branch of Said Road referd to in our Said Order
of the 10^th of November, We do Still approve of both the Said Orders as conducive to the
Publick Good, and consistent with the Powers vested in us by the Said Ordinance
of the Said Tynwald Court to which we crave leave to refer

And we the Majority of the Said Committee taking into consideration also the
Amendment and Repairs of the New Road or Highway leading from Peeltown
to Kirkpatrick Bridge, do find that Said Amendments and Repairs are well and
Sufficiently made, and as it was necessary to conduct the Said Road through and upon
the Lands of Hugh Woods, John Saint, Mabell Radcliffe and William Cooper which
being prejudicial to said Several Persons Properties, We do therefore by virtue of the
Powers reposed in us by the Said Ordinance of the Tynwald Court, hereby declare
and give our full and free consent, that Hugh Woods, John Saint Mabell Radcliffe
and William Cooper, do Enjoy the adjacent Old Road at all Times hereafter without
Molestation as a full Compensation and Satisfaction for the Damages which they
have or may Sustain by conducting cutting and making said new Road through
and upon their Several and respective Lands aforesaid

And We the Majority of the said Committee also taking into consideration the
Amendments and repairs of the Road or Highway which leads from Kirkpatrick Chur[ch]
to Mountains, part of which Road leads through the Lands of Ballamore and Cnochaloe
moor, do find that the Repairs amendments, Widdennings and openings on part of Said
Road or Highway from the Road leading from the Highway near Kirkpatricks Church
to the Bottom of the Hill or Place called Beal a vare voar are well and Sufficiently
made repaired and Widdened, and that the Said Repairs and amendments have been
made at the Sole Expence of the Said moor, besides the Widdenning thereof out of his [obscured]
