from any of the Papers before me whether the Duke has any Rights to or
Ascertain by this Bill on which he can build the Re establishment of those
Valuable and Proud Prerogatives which have been as it were stole from
him since the Act of the 5^th of the King by the Officers of the Island &c &
pretending that they were included in that Act. If this be the Case I wo^d
Advise his Grace to try the fate of this Suit in the Court of Exchequer. But
if the Object of Contention is circumscribed to the Property alone I & &
seriously doubt about the propriety of Prosecuting it farther ——
