At the House of Keys the 28^th June 1777

We the Keys of Mann having in pursuance of His Excellency the Gov^rs order
proceeded to try and determine the Matter of a certain Action instituted at —
Common Law the 8^th December 1775 by Rob^t Garrett Plff ag^t W^m Garrett
Deft for the Recovery of a parcel of Intack in the Parish of Lezayre of —
[illegible] p^r rent and having fully heard the parties or their Attorneys in the said
Cause and perused the Sheading Jury and Traverse Jurys Verdict or Judgm^t
given in the premises dated the 6^th May, and 29^th July 1776 and all —
Entries, Wills, Deeds and Exhibits produced by and on behalf of the said parties
respectively and upon full & Mature Deliberation of the same and of what was
offered by the parties Severally We Say and are of opinion that the said Plff —
Rob^t Garrett is not entitled to the said Lands & promiſes atchmed for or any part
thereof and that the said Traverse Jurys Verdict dated the 29^th July 1776 as afores^d
is illegal & the same is hereby reversed and the Verdict of the Sheading Jury —
dated the 6^th day of May 1776 aforesaid is affirmed and we adjudge the Plff
to recover nothing and the Deft to be continued in the quiet poſſeſsion of the
promiſes atchmed for and that each party bear his own Costs
