&c By his Comission of the two & twentieth Day of Aprill last past Hath
Deputed & Authorished John Grenshalgh Esquier Gov^r nor of the said Islands

Rob^t Barrie Waterbayliffe, Rob^t Calcote Attorney Androwe Broome Steward
of his Houshold & George Broome Secretaris his Comissioners to contract
& agree with the People of this Island for such Sumes of Money and upon
such Consideracons, as to them should bee thought fitt, and further, as by
the Teno^r of the said Comission appeareth. Now forasmuch as John Cannell
Deemster of the said Isle, John Sharples Controll^r & Rob^t Barrey Waterbayliff
have come in & ofered to Compound with the said Comission^rs. His Lo^pp is
gratiouslie pleased for the Consideracons aggreed upon betwixt his Lo^pp
& the said Ipties, & for Service done & to bee done by the said John Cannoll
John Sharples & Rob^t Barrey to him the said Earle and his Hoyres, to Give
Grant & Convey, and the said Earle for him & his Hoyres, Doth hereby Give
Grant & Convey unto the said John Capnoll, John Sharples & Rob^t Barney
their Hoyres & Assignes, All and everie the Meſſuadges, Cottages, Landes,
Tenements, Milnes, Closes, Intackes, & Hereditaments whatsoev^r herein
hereafter menconed and by them formerlie compounded & agreed for, for
the Tearmes of certaine Lyves yet in beinge as by the Booke of Composicons
appeareth, That is to say to the said John Cannoll one Meſſuage &
Tenement called Norlougher contayninge one Quarter and a halfe of Land
of the single Rent of xxiiij^d viij^d; one other Quarter of Lands called
Noulruino Rent single xxij^d vj^d one parcell of Intackes thereunto + + +
adjoyning Rent ij^s ij^d one other Quarter and a halfe of Land called
Ballaganoll of the single Rent of xxviij^s viij^d two parcells of Intackes
thereunto belonginge Rent vij^d, one Intacke in the fells Rent xxij^d one
