I HAVE this day written to Mr. Carleton hearing
my L. Scroope is absent to give warning to the
isle of Man that they may be upon their gard to w"stand the
islanders. In we' behalf I wrote by Kyrkowbray to the Captain
of the isle of Man on Tuesday last wch I hope hath gotten
passage to him & I omit no means in my power to do good in
this matter seining daily of more and more importance, &c., &c.
