lively And this Indenture
further Witnesseth that in
consideration of the Sum of fifty eight thou-
sand pounds paid to the said John Duke of
Athole as herein before is recited and of the Trusts
herein before declared concerning the East India
Bonds purchased with the Sum of twelve thou-
sand Pounds residue of the said Sum of seventy
thousand Pounds the said John Duke of
Athole doth for himself his Heirs Executors
and Administrators Covenant Promise &
agree to and with the said Sir Charles Frederick
and Edmond Hoskins their Executors and
Administrators and each and every of them
by these presents in manner following (that
is to say) that he the said John Duke of
Athole his heirs executors or Administrators or
some or one of them shall and will as soon
as conveniently may be fully pay off and
discharge or cause and procure to be fully
paid off and discharged the said principae
Sum of seven thousand Pounds due on the
said heritable Bond to the said late Duke
of Douglas and every part thereof and
all Interest now due or hereafter to grow
due thereon or in respect thereof and all
Costs and Charges relating thereto and shall
and will at his and their own Charge and
