from any of the Papers before me whether the Duke has any Rights to
ascertain by this Bill on which he can build the Re-establishment of those
Valuable and Proud Prerogatives which have been as it were stole from
him since the Act of the 5^th of the King by the Officers of the Island & y^t
pretending that they were included in that Act. If this be the Case I wo^d
Advise his Grace to try the fate of this Suit in the Court of Exchequer. But
if the Object of Contention is circumscribed to the Property alone I y^t
seriously doubt about the propriety of Prosecuting it farther
